One of the city’s most anticipated openings is taking shape: Six Senses Milan, a project that blends luxury hospitality, craftsmanship, and wellbeing in dialogue with the urban fabric.
The artists’ quarter will soon welcome a new landmark in Milan’s hospitality landscape. Opening in 2026, Six Senses Milan will feature 68 rooms (including 15 suites and 2 with private plunge pools) housed within a building that reflects Brera’s historic and creative character.
Located at Via Brera 19, the hotel is nestled among art galleries, historic cafés, and close to the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Duomo, and the Fashion District. The project seeks to balance sophisticated minimalism with artisanal details: materials such as arabescato marble, hand-blown glass, textured stucco, and mosaic inlays will dialogue with the area’s layered history.
The interior design project is curated by Tara Bernerd & Partners, a London-based studio renowned for its contemporary and refined approach. The interiors of Six Senses Milan combine comfort and sophistication, incorporating elements of Milanese craftsmanship and natural materials, creating a harmonious dialogue between history, art, and design in the heart of Brera.
A defining feature will be the Earth Lab, an experiential space dedicated to sustainability where guests can take part in workshops: from crafting handmade objects to learning low-impact practices. Completing the experience are a peaceful inner courtyard, a restaurant focused on seasonal cuisine, a deli, and the signature Six Senses Spa, combining advanced technology with a human touch. A rooftop bar with an “sky pool” will crown the experience with panoramic city views.
The project is the result of a collaboration with Gruppo Statuto, further strengthening its portfolio of high-end hospitality ventures in Italy. According to Six Senses CEO Neil Jacobs, Milan represents the ideal setting where art, architecture, and gastronomy converge — encapsulated in the brand’s motto, “Italy moves you like nowhere else.”
The goal is to bring to one of the city’s most vibrant and multifaceted districts a vision of hospitality that not only embraces local culture but also enhances it, fostering a dialogue between guests and Milan’s artistic scene. In this sense, the hotel aims to become more than a luxury destination: a new place of encounter, discovery, and regeneration for those who live in or visit Brera.
