At the Fuorisalone, a tribute to the lightness of shapes and materials.
Brera Design Week 2025 – The historic Italian company Alias, in the setting of Fondazione Matalon, a cultural and artistic pole, presents new collections developed with signatures that continue to contribute to the brand’s values, between functionality and creative experimentation.
In the heart of Milan, at Foro Buonaparte 67, the brand presents its new designs under the theme ‘Lightness of being’, celebrating the lightness of shapes and materials in its new collections and paying homage to its legacy of design excellence.
‘Lightness of being’ is reflected within an immersive journey that enhances the products in realistic environments. The exhibition concept emphasises aesthetics and functionality, ranging from the living room to the office to reflect contemporary living.
The new creations fit into the Foundation’s spaces as essential, ‘weightless’ objects, in a perfect balance between innovation and tradition, aesthetics and function, embodying the vision of timeless design and its founding philosophy encapsulated in the poetics of ‘Something Else’.
One of the most eagerly awaited moments is the return of the collaboration with Mario Botta, the famous Ticino architect. A bond that began in 1982 and continues today with the presentation of two new collections characterised by geometric and rigorous forms that dialogue with the surrounding space, combining functionality and formal expressiveness.
Alongside Botta’s creations, Alias is also presenting new products by Paolo Rizzatto, Riccardo Blumer, Patrick Norguet and Daniel Rybakken.
Alias at Brera Design Week 2025 celebrates lightness as the essence of design, combining aesthetics and functionality. With new collections and prestigious collaborations, the brand reaffirms its innovative vision, making this event a must for design lovers.
