Jardines by Balmaceda

Balmaceda Studio debuts at Milano Design Week 2025 with Jardines, a collection inspired by Roberto Burle Marx.

Through a sophisticated textile language, Jardines translates the metaphor of the garden into tactile designs, creating a harmonious dialogue between nature and contemporary interior design. Inspired by the visionary landscapes of Roberto Burle Marx, the collection captures the organic rhythms and fluid geometries of tropical flora, reinterpreted through exquisite craftsmanship and innovative techniques.

Each piece in Jardines embodies the intersection of tradition and modernity, featuring hand- knotted rugs and intricate chaquira embroidery that mimic the textures and patterns found in nature. The collection also expands into blown glass vessels, whose fluid, sculptural forms echo the movement of water and the lush vitality of botanical life. By blending natural elements with contemporary aesthetics, Jardines offers a sensory experience that celebrates the unpredictable beauty of nature, transforming spaces into immersive landscapes of color, texture, and form.

April 7–14, 10 AM – 6 PM
Via Pietro Maroncelli, 2, 20154 Milan, Italy.
