An immersive installation exploring the boundary between reality and cinematic fiction through the spaces of an elegant house.
During Milan Design Week 2025, Loro Piana and Dimoremilano debut together for the first time with an engaging and immersive installation where reality and imagination intertwine, creating a captivating experience. Like in a film – conceived and directed by Dimorestudio – that overturns expectations, the cinematic twist of the installation transports visitors into another dimension.
Fanning out between an entrance, a dining room, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small garden, the Loro Piana house transforms into a muffled refuge, an intimate space that protects from the elements, noise, and external chaos. Warm earthy tones and natural materials such as cashmere, wool and cashmere, velvet, sisal and wool carpeting exude a sophisticated calm.
The event recreates a fully-furnished Loro Piana house decorated with a mix of exceptional new furniture, tableware, and materials alongside the Maison’s signature home décor and vintage pieces. Every element converges, heightening the tactile luxury and creating an inviting atmosphere where every detail contributes to a seamless harmony. Each room recounts a story of tactility and materiality, exemplifying the highest expression of Loro Piana’s art of living and entertaining. A selection of the Maison’s furnishings designed by Dimoremilano are presented alongside new and emblematic Dimoremilano pieces, upholstered in Loro Piana Interiors fabrics.
The installation is open to the public from Tuesday, April 8th to Sunday, April 13th, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at via della Moscova 33 in the Cortile della Seta courtyard in Loro Piana’s Milan headquarters.
