Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel
Piazzetta M Bossi, 2
Clerici - La Scala
Casa Brera is the new luxury lifestyle hotel managed by Marriott International that brings to the heart of Milan a hospitality concept that combines Milanese soul and cosmopolitan spirit. A few steps from Piazza della Scala, the hotel, located in Piazzetta Bossi, is an exclusive landmark in the city for high-end dining and entertainment. Elegant and refined, in its 116 rooms it embodies the quintessence of design, art and culture that can be breathed in Milan. Inside it presents four exclusive gastronomic destinations: the all-day lounge bar Casa Brera Living, the haute cuisine Italian restaurant Scena, the panoramic rooftop with skybar Etereo and the traditional Japanese restaurant Odachi. Consulting for the first three food & beverage hubs is the renowned chef Andrea Berton, a Michelin star, who oversees their gastronomic offerings, while the celebrated chef Haruo Ichikawa - the first Japanese in Italy to be awarded a Michelin star - oversees the Japanese offerings. The design of Casa Brera, entirely by Patricia Urquiola, is the result of the conservative restoration of a building constructed in the late 1950s by architect Pietro Lingeri, a leading figure in Italian rationalism. The designer and architect plays on the dichotomy between stylistic rigour and creative flair, two opposing yet complementary faces of Milan, paying homage to the rationalist architecture of the Lombard capital.
