Arena Civica - Parco Sempione
The Gianni Brera civic arena, even just the Arena, is a multi-purpose sports facility in Milan. Inaugurated in 1807 as an Amphitheatre, in 1870 it became the Civic Arena after having passed to the Milanese municipality.
In 2002 the Arena was named after Gianni Brera, a journalist and writer who died ten years earlier.
