Celebrating music as a universal language
From 18 to 24 November, the Milano Music Week 2024 will transform the city into an immersive experience of music and creativity. At the heart of the programme are iconic locations around the Brera district, hosting events, discussions, performances, and exhibitions, engaging artists, experts, and audiences in dialogues on the contemporary music scene.
At Castello Sforzesco, musical performances will take place in a historic setting, while the Triennale Milano will host workshops and contemporary music performances. Casa degli Artisti will feature talks with artists and discussions on music’s evolution, and the Civic Aquarium will offer immersive sound experiences, like the sonorisation of aquatic environments.
Spaces such as the Dazi at the Arco della Pace and Parco Sempione will become meeting points, while the Library and other local venues will host installations and gatherings, making the district a hub of activity.
Additionally, special initiatives like House of Music by Asian Fake at the Asian Fake Bunker and exclusive DJ sets will enrich the week with unique and engaging experiences, including events to discover new talent and independent productions. With artistic direction by Nur Al Habash and support from Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival, the Milano Music Week 2024 aims to strengthen Milan’s role as the music capital of Italy.
This initiative celebrates music as a universal language, transforming Milan into a gathering place for enthusiasts and professionals in the field. Supported by creative partners and digital content creators, the week-long festival will spread across the city’s neighbourhoods with concerts, talks, and installations, inviting participants to experience Milan as a grand soundscape for all musical genres.
The Milano Music Week is organised by the City of Milan, together with partners such as Assoconcerti, FIMI, Assomusica, NUOVO IMAIE, and SIAE, under the artistic direction of Nur Al Habash and in collaboration with Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival. For full programme details, visit the official Milano Music Week website.
