Now home to the CAM of Municipio 1
Walking along Corso Garibaldi, you will surely have noticed a building that looks like a church from the outside, with a beautiful garden next to it.
This is the CAM of Municipality 1, a multifunctional community centre that hosts various types of courses and lessons.
However, it was once the Convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which was largely destroyed during the bombings of the Second World War.
All that remains today is a section of the portico, part of a public garden, and the church, now deconsecrated, which hosts courses and lessons, not least the most characteristic and famous ones: ballroom dancing lessons for the elderly.
In fact, as you walk by, you may hear music and come across a scene that seems to belong to another era.
