On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Pianca presents An Ode to Natural Resilience, at its Milan showroom, a unique video art installation by Franco-Iraqi architect and artist Estelle A. Alanbari. This work combines immersive visuals with cultural messages to address pressing and contemporary issues such as climate crises and the urgent need for collective action to protect nature. At the heart of the exhibition space, curated by Calvi Brambilla studio, visitors will be welcomed into a captivating artistic experience, capable of leaving a profound visual and emotional impression.
Based in London, Estelle A. Alanbari is an interdisciplinary figure who merges art, architecture, and social sciences in her work. Her practice explores the intersection of nature, culture, and technology through immersive installations and multimedia projections. She has exhibited in prestigious international settings, including the Venice Biennale, with the goal of making art both accessible and engaging. Her academic journey ranges from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris to the London School of Economics and the Chelsea College of Art and Design, all of which have shaped her innovative and multidisciplinary vision.
With An Ode to Natural Resilience, Pianca reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of conscious design, one that harmoniously blends aesthetics with environmental responsibility.
