Set within the historic All Saints’ Anglican Church in Brera (Via Solferino 17), MENU returns to Milan Design Week 2025 with a striking exhibition, conceived and curated by renowned London-based designer Bodo Sperlein.
This year’s edition delves into collaboration, examining how design shapes our interactions with our surroundings. A sensory journey through materiality and innovation, the exhibition redefines craftsmanship, presenting design as a powerful force for connection.
At its centre, a dramatic seven-metre sculptural table by Schotten & Hansen, crafted from exquisite wood veneer, anchors the space. Adorning it is Juno, Sperlein’s latest bone china collection for Dibbern—a testament to refined artistry. Enveloping the exhibition, Schotten & Hansen’s modular wood veneer walls, designed exclusively for MENU, introduce warmth and structure, their intricate intarsia detailing and new Ridge Line texture adding depth.
Overhead, Lobmeyr’s crystal and brass chandeliers, including the debut of the Orchid light, join LZF’s Arabesque, Osca, and Voliere chandeliers, casting a mesmerizing glow. Below, GAN Rugs’ Botanica collection enhances the tactile experience.
Before stepping inside, visitors are drawn in by an engaging Azado installation, where outdoor cooking meets elegant design. Showcasing their signature grills and kitchens, it celebrates the ritual of open-fire cooking in style. As visitors move through the space, an adjoining room reveals Edelgrund’s Persian-inspired contemporary kilims, offering a textured and vibrant transition that brings the exhibition to a thoughtful close.
More than an exhibition, MENU is a recipe for connection.
MENU will be open to the public from April 7 to April 12, 2025, at All Saints’ Anglican Church, Via Solferino 17.
