Il Marchese Milano
Via dei Bossi, 3
Clerici - La Scala
Monday - Sunday
12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
From the heart of the Eternal City, Il Marchese arrives in Milan in the enchanting Brera district to export the overwhelming aristocratic charm of 19th-century Rome and its popular gastronomic tradition.
Loosely inspired by the film Il Marchese del Grillo, the restaurant fuses two very different souls: on the one hand that of the Marchese with its pomp and sumptuous furnishings, and on the other that of the Carbonaro with the authenticity and warmth of Roman taverns. The result is an elegant and authentic food and wine salon, where velvet sofas, precious stuccoes and large crystal chandeliers accompany wooden tables and handcrafted chairs.
The heart of the restaurant is the oval central courtyard, with majestic columns that provide a scenic backdrop to the kitchen, the open cocktail bar and the small stage dedicated to live music accompaniment. Next door, a unique ambience: an intimate and precious "restaurant within a restaurant", i.e. a room with kitchen and private cocktail bar to reserve for events and celebrations, complete with dedicated chef and bartender. Another large room overlooking the street for special celebrations completes the venue.
A place to be enjoyed for any occasion, from the most important ones to a simple evening with friends.
