In 1939 Salvatore Sangalli, just married to Antonietta, took a house in Via Ciovasso, 5. The contract provides that, in addition to the house, Salvatore acquires the management of the underlying fruit and vegetable shop. So Salvatore and Antonietta become greengrocers for love. In the mid-50s his son Angelo enters the shop and takes over the business in 1966. In the meantime Brera changes skin and not only. From a neighborhood of only railing houses inhabited by workers, it turns into one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of the city and the new clientele is increasingly attentive to the quality of the product.
Since 1992, Angelo has managed the shop with the support of his brother Luciano. In 2016 Angelo sells the business to Roberto Di Liddo who maintains the shop's layout: only seasonal and first choice products. The high quality as always is now combined with an effective presence on social networks.
