Caffè Fernanda

On 1 October 2018 the Pinacoteca di Brera opened its first café, Caffè Fernanda, after the brief experiment of the 1980s. The opening took place on the occasion of the inaugural evening held at the end of the Pinacoteca's redevelopment project.  The new café is completely realized in a 1950s design frame in continuity with the artistic and cultural context of the museum. The Café, characterized by the colours pink, blue and mustard, can contain 32 seats inside and 40 seats in the outdoor loggia.
Massimiliano and William Fabbro, who have been working in the restaurant business for twenty years, wanted to create a unique and distinctive project for the management of Caffè Fernanda: this is how the garden of the Pinacoteca di Brera was born. On this dedicated land will be produced the seasonal vegetables that will be used by the company led by William Fabbro for Fernanda Coffee, thus creating a dedicated supply chain: this organic and ethical method will also support the people who will work there.
