Ko-Lan Lai presents twenty small-scale paintings inspired by everyday moments experienced between Milan, Sicily and Taipei.

Solitary figures, fleeting encounters and urban landscapes become suspended fragments in which a single instant can contain an entire world. Through an intimate, cinematic approach, the artist reflects on fragility, distance and the experience of being away from home.
