An immersive exhibition curated by Demna retracing the House’s history through installations, tapestries, and botanical environments at Chiostri di San Simpliciano
Presented during Fuorisalone 2026, Gucci Memoria unfolds within the historic Chiostri di San Simpliciano as an immersive exhibition curated by Demna. The project retraces the House’s 105-year history, reflecting its evolving identity while remaining anchored in its Florentine origins. Drawing on references from the Italian Renaissance and Demna’s debut fashion show Primavera, the exhibition brings together different moments from the House’s past and present.
Across the cloisters, a series of installations gives form to this narrative. Tapestries trace key moments in the House’s development, from Guccio Gucci’s early beginnings to the evolution of its visual language across decades. Each scene is articulated through shifts in composition, colour, and setting, leading to the present day.

A garden environment, inspired by the Flora motif originally designed in 1966, translates the House’s silk heritage into a three-dimensional landscape.
Within the smaller cloister, custom vending machines dispense non-alcoholic drinks created by Gucci Giardino, extending the exhibition through an interactive element.
