Il conforto dell'ombra

The exhibition “Il conforto dell’ombra” presents 29 works by Giancarlo Consonni, representing the different periods and techniques explored throughout his career.

The exhibition includes tempera paintings, watercolours, photographs and collages from the series Incantamenti, L’uccello di fuoco, Nel Blu and Ascoltando Bach, as well as the 2025 work Arrivo e partenza.

A poet, painter, urban planner and photographer, Consonni was Professor Emeritus of Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano and published five books in Einaudi’s “bianca” poetry series.
