Exhibitions not to be missed in Brera this March

Our selection of exhibitions not to miss this month.

Un’artista tra fiaba e realtà

Where: Fabbrica Eos
When: Till 23 march 2025

Dina Goldstein’s solo exhibition, featuring the Israeli-Canadian visual artist, blends pop surrealism and social critique. Through her works, she explores themes of beauty, power, and sexuality using the iconic figures of Ken and Barbie, reinterprets fairy tales in a realistic light, and examines the role of religion and urban social dynamics. A journey that invites viewers to look beyond the surface of images, confronting the complexities of contemporary society.

The Waves

Where: 10corsocomo
when: TIll 30 march 2025

The exhibition aligns the narrative of five of the most radical and talented brands and young designers into a single, fluid installation. 10corsocomo has selected ALL-IN, Duran Lantink, Hodakova, Vaquera, and Zomer as leading voices in contemporary creativity. Inspired by The Waves by Virginia Woolf, the project reinterprets tailoring through experimental and expressionist forms, engaging with themes such as sustainability, reuse, and gender identity.

Essere Donna. Il corpo come strumento di creazione e atto di ribellione

Where: Fumagalli Gallery
When: Till 30 may 2025

Inspired by the life and thought of Oriana Fallaci, the exhibition brings together works by Marina Abramović, Sang A Han, Annette Messager, Shirin Neshat, and Gina Pane—artists who have made the body the core of their expressive research. The exhibition features iconic Body Art works and explores the female body as a means of resistance, introspection, and transformation, fostering a continuous dialogue between past and present.

Interni Morbidi

Where: Antonia Jannone Disegni di Architettura
When: Till 2 april 2025

The exhibition explores Franco Raggi’s ironic imaginary spaces through twelve tapestries and preparatory drawings. The works depict stylized environments, without human figures, inviting the viewer to discover scenic objects that play with incoherence and instability. The “textile architectures” created between 2021 and 2023 use quilting to combine different materials and colors. While evoking surrealism, his narrative is ironic, reflecting on lightness, temporality, and movement, and inviting a continuous search for self.

Omaggio alle Donne

Where: MADE4ART
When: Till 31 march 2025

The exhibition features artists Sergio Armaroli, Maddalena Barletta, Giuseppe Bevilacqua, Carlo Brenna, and Sara Montani, celebrating International Women’s Day. The works explore various aspects of femininity: from iconic and ironic femininity to emotions and contradictions, as well as surreal figures and a corporeality revealed through fabrics. A project offering five original perspectives on femininity, promoting a message of respect and harmony.

Ossessivo-Inventivo

Where: ADI Design Museum
When: Till 23 march 2025

Through the work of 12 creatives, the “Obsessive-Inventive” exhibition explores design as an inquiry that deconstructs and reconfigures the known into new forms. Obsession drives creativity, pushing beyond ordinary thinking and addressing themes like perception, connection, color, repetition, and softness. Metal, chosen for its versatility, brings abstract concepts to life, turning them into tangible forms.

Pensieri Instabili

Where: Triennale Milano
When: Till 13 april 2025

The exhibition invites you to discover Franco Raggi, an architect and designer who, over fifty years of career, collaborated with the Radical design groups and Studio Alchimia. A journey through key moments of his work, from product design to installations, interiors to drawings, alongside his contributions to publishing and architectural discourse. A visual journey of an artist capable of anticipating and interpreting the spirit of the times.
