The art gallery Il Vicolo was founded in 1967 in Genoa by the Futurist artist Alf Gaudenzi. The activity of the gallery ranges in various fields: born as a gallery specializing in graphics and still a reference point for fans and collectors of engravings and lithographs, Il Vicolo has curated over the years exhibitions related to the art of the twentieth century, the historical avant-garde (Depero, Prampolini, Doctors, Marino, Masson) and contemporary, showing particular attention to the world of illustration: Emanuele Luzzati, great illustrator and set designer, has been one of the artists followed by the gallery for years and Il Vicolo is the main publisher of his works in screen printing. One of his strong points is the Store, where you can buy from the catalogue to the art object, from the poster to the artwork (silkscreen printing and signed and numbered engravings). In 2014 the gallery opens another branch in Milan in Via Maroncelli 2.
