Altai

Collections of unusual nomadic antique carpets, has become an international reference for major architects and collectors.
For decades Altai has frequented the nomadic regions in search of ancient weavings. From Caucasus, Kurdistan, Sahara, Central Asia come primitive felts, long pile carpets, tapestries with archaic symbols, large leather and palm mats, and many other types all sharing unusual designs and colours. The many years of attendance in Central Asia has also led to the opening of the Altai Sete Atelier where Uzbek weavers knot by hand 100,000 times per square meter the most precious wild silks of the Fergana Valley.
