100 Anni per Brera. Doni e Acquisti degli Amici celebrates the centenary of the founding of the Associazione Amici di Brera, tracing a century of patronage, civic engagement and support for the Pinacoteca di Brera.
Curated by Lorenzo Francesco Colombo, Valentina Ferrari and Alessandro Morandotti, the exhibition presents works that entered the Pinacoteca’s collections thanks to the Association, its members and benefactors.
Paintings, sculptures, drawings and documentary materials tell the human, cultural and collecting stories that made their acquisition by Brera possible.
