London-based industrial design studio, BLOND, collaborates with New York-based grooming brand Harry’s in the heart of Milan\u2019s Brera District.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As the design industry rationalises the adoption of AI, many questions surrounding authenticity are cause for debate. Concerns about the erosion of craft and job security echo across the industry. Can AI benefit designers and end users while preserving originality, design craftsmanship, and human touch? What will the design process look like in the near future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the heart of Milan’s Brera district, a recognised hub for innovation during the annual Milan Design Week, the thoughtful and immersive installation will vulnerably navigate these questions through a live case study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BLOND and Harry’s will invite visitors to track the design development of two facial steamers;<\/strong> one created by BLOND using, where possible, exclusively AI tools<\/strong>\u2014and a second created by Harry’s using ‘traditional’ processes<\/strong> that are well-known and adopted within the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition, at its core, is a research project. The two alternative and isolated workflows will be analysed. The outcome will be<\/strong> BLOND and Harry’s recommendation for AI integration within the design process.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le preoccupazioni sulla perdita dell\u2019artigianalit\u00e0 e sulla sicurezza del lavoro riecheggiano nel settore. L\u2019AI pu\u00f2 realmente supportare designer e utenti finali preservando l\u2019originalit\u00e0, l\u2019abilit\u00e0 artigianale e il tocco umano? Come si evolver\u00e0 il processo di design nel prossimo futuro?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nel cuore del distretto di Brera a Milano, riconosciuto come polo di innovazione durante la Milano Design Week, un\u2019installazione immersiva e riflessiva affronter\u00e0 apertamente queste domande attraverso un caso studio dal vivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BLOND e Harry\u2019s inviteranno i visitatori a seguire lo sviluppo di due vaporizzatori per il viso: uno progettato da BLOND utilizzando, dove possibile, esclusivamente strumenti basati su AI, <\/strong>e un secondo sviluppato da Harry\u2019s con processi \"tradizionali\"<\/strong>, ampiamente conosciuti e adottati nel settore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
