A secret garden that few people know about<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Few people in Milan are aware of the garden dedicated to Pippa Bacca, a completely regenerated oasis of over 2,700 square metres recently redeveloped by the Nivea brand, together with WWF, the City of Milan and with the support of Green City Italia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The garden is located in Via Tommaso da Cazzaniga and is a place of peace, quiet and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has many children’s games and lots and lots of greenery, not easy to find in a city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pippa Bacca, born Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, was an Italian artist who tragically died at the age of 33 during a travelling performance called ‘Brides on the Road’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performance consisted of hitchhiking through 11 countries affected by armed conflicts until she arrived in Jerusalem, dressed as a bride, to promote peace and trust in others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was unfortunately killed by a man who had given her a lift on her route in Gezbe on 31 March 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sono in pochi a Milano a conoscere il giardino dedicato a Pippa Bacca, un\u2019oasi di oltre 2.700 mq completamente rigenerata recentemente riqualificata dal brand Nivea, insieme a WWF, Comune di Milano e con il supporto di Green City Italia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il giardino si trova in via Tommaso da Cazzaniga ed \u00e8 un luogo di pace, quiete e divertimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c8 infatti dotato di molti giochi per bambini e di tantissimo, tantissimo verde, non facile da trovare in una citt\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pippa Bacca, all\u2019anagrafe Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, \u00e8 stata un\u2019artista italiana tragicamente morta a 33 anni durante una performance itinerante dal nome \u201cSpose in viaggio\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La performance consisteva nell\u2019attraversare in autostop 11 paesi teatro di conflitti armati fino ad arrivare a Gerusalemme, in abito da sposa, per promuovere la pace e la fiducia nel prossimo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fu purtroppo uccisa da un uomo che le aveva dato un passaggio in questo suo percorso a Gezbe il 31 marzo 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
