Zaha Hadid Design signs the Iris Ceramica Group’s new installation in Piazza dei Mercanti <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ceramic, a natural and sustainable material, expresses its noblest technical qualities of resistance and ductility in an unprecedented project bearing the unmistakable signature of Zaha Hadid Design<\/strong>, who interprets the Iris Ceramica Group<\/strong>‘s slabs to create an installation bringing the material to centre stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The surfaces are transformed into a moving wave, overcoming the limits of traditional applications and opening the way to a new concept of design exploration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with ‘Materia Natura’ – the Fuorisalone 2024 theme supporting a more conscious design culture<\/strong>, promoting sustainability as a guiding principle and fundamental value in any creative process – ZHD’s project expresses the potential dynamism of ceramic slabs by rethinking them in motion.<\/strong> The unexpected sinuous shapes of the installation create a wonderland within which one can walk almost to the point of getting lost: a celebration of ingenuity and spontaneity, and above all of the ductility, durability and sustainability of the ceramic material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 4 Via Santa Margherita, the showroom gets a complete makeover and unveils its new concept, echoed by the renaming to ICG Gallery Milano.

In linea con \"Materia Natura\" \u2013 il tema del Fuorisalone 2024<\/strong> che sostiene una cultura del design pi\u00f9 consapevole, promuovendo la sostenibilit\u00e0 come principio guida e valore fondamentale in qualsiasi processo creativo \u2013 il progetto di ZHD esprime il potenziale dinamismo delle lastre ceramiche ripensandole in movimento<\/strong>. Le forme sinuose inaspettate dell\u2019installazione creano un paesaggio delle meraviglie all\u2019interno del quale \u00e8 possibile passeggiare fino quasi a perdersi: una celebrazione dell'ingegno e della spontaneit\u00e0 e soprattutto della duttilit\u00e0, durevolezza e sostenibilit\u00e0 del materiale ceramico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
