<h2 class=\"h3\">A historic building demolished<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The church was built around 1630 next to the Fatebenefratelli hospital, founded in 1588 by the Archbishop of Milan, Gaspare Visconti.\u00a0<br>It was located between what is now Corso di Porta Nuova and Via Fatebenefratelli.<br>Unfortunately, the church, like the old hospital building, was demolished in 1937 after the unification of Italy.<br><br>It was richly decorated with statues and had a single central entrance surmounted by a large window.<br>There were also many prominent frescoes and four marble altars.<br><br>Unfortunately, it is not known where the artefacts ended up after the demolition.<\/p>\n","protected":false,"raw":"<!-- wp:acf\/introduzione -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Si trovava tra l'attuale Corso di Porta Nuova e via Fatebenefratelli.<br>Purtroppo la chiesa, come il vecchio edificio dell'ospedale, vennero demoliti nel 1937 dopo l'unit\u00e0 d'Italia.<br>Si presentava ricca di decori e statue con un unico ingresso centrale sormontato da una grande finestra.<br>Erano anche presenti molti affreschi di spicco e quattro altari in marmo.<br><br>Purtroppo non si sa dove siano finiti i reperti dopo la demolizione.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph
