When his older brother, Domenico, opened his own tailor&#8217;s shop in Rome, he called on two of his brothers to work with him: Galliano and Augusto, and it was here that Augusto gained a wealth of experience.<br>In the 1930s, Augusto moved to Paris, where he enjoyed great success as a tailor, with clients who were among the most prominent figures of the time.<br>In 1939, due to the outbreak of World War II, Augusto, who had since married and had four children, returned to Italy.<br><br>In 1946, he opened his own tailor&#8217;s shop with a partner at Via Fatebenefratelli 16 in Milan.<br>In the same year, his young son Mario began working there and learning the art of tailoring. In 1972, after Augusto&#8217;s death, Mario named the tailor&#8217;s shop in memory of his father, and thus the current name A. CARACENI was born.<br><br>From 1972 to 1998, the business continued to thrive and acquire an international clientele, thanks to Mario&#8217;s determination and commitment to maintaining the tradition. Nello stesso anno inizia a lavorarci e ad apprendere l\u2019arte sartoriale anche il giovane figlio Mario.<br><br>Nel 1972 dopo la morte di Augusto, Mario intesta la sartoria alla memoria del padre e cos\u00ec nasce l'attuale intestazione A.
