This is the CAM of Municipality 1, a multifunctional community centre that hosts various types of courses and lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it was once the Convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which was largely destroyed during the bombings of the Second World War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All that remains today is a section of the portico, part of a public garden, and the church, now deconsecrated, which hosts courses and lessons, not least the most characteristic and famous ones: ballroom dancing lessons for the elderly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camminando per Corso Garibaldi vi sar\u00e0 sicuramente capitato di notare un edificio che da fuori sembra una Chiesa con un bellissimo giardino adiacente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si tratta del C.A.M. Garibaldi \"Falcone e Borsellino\u201d del Municipio 1, ovvero il centro di aggregazione multifunzionale, sede di corsi e lezioni di diversa tipologia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un tempo per\u00f2 si trattava del Convento di Santa Maria degli Angeli, andato per gran parte distrutto durante i bombardamenti della seconda guerra mondiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di lui oggi restano un tratto di portico, parte di un giardino pubblico, e la Chiesa, ormai sconsacrata, che ospita corsi e lezioni, non ultime le pi\u00f9 caratteristiche e famose: quelle di ballo liscio per anziani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
