 <h2 class=\"h3\">Where does its name come from?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Built around the end of the 19th century, around 1878, it was designed by architect Gilberto Buzzi and owes its name to the presence of several high reliefs depicting the faces of illustrious Italians of all times on the fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among these we recognise: Leonardo da Vinci, Ugo Foscolo, Antonio Appiani, Alessandro Manzoni, Carlo Porta, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This type of decoration is part of the trend and fashion that spread in Milan between the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century called \u201ccase parlanti\/talking houses&#8221;.<br>The \u201ccase parlanti\/talking houses\u201d were, in fact, tributes to famous stories or characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ca&#8217; di Facc, in Piazza Baiamonti 3, consists of four original floors to which another was added later (in a different era), for a total of five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each floor has several windows, for a total of illustri di tutti i tempi sulla facciata.<br>Riconosciamo tra questi: Leonardo da Vinci, Ugo Foscolo, Antonio Appiani, Alessandro Manzoni, Carlo Porta, e molti altri.<br>Questa tipologia di decorazione fa parte della corrente e moda diffusa a Milano tra la seconda met\u00e0 dell\u2019800 e gli inizi del \u2018900 chiamata \u201ccase parlanti\u201d.<br>Le \u201ccase parlanti\u201d infatti
