The international gallery Thaddaeus Ropac will inaugurate its first location in Italy on September 20, with an exhibition that brings Lucio Fontana and Georg Baselitz into dialogue.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The new opening takes place on the edge of Brera, where the historic Palazzo Belgioioso becomes the ideal stage for the seventh gallery by Thaddaeus Ropac.<\/strong> The Austrian gallerist, internationally renowned, has launched and represented artists such as Basquiat and Keith Haring, and already boasts established locations in Paris, London and Salzburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new gallery spans 280 m\u00b2 over multiple floors<\/strong>, housing exhibition rooms, offices, and areas dedicated to installations. La nuova apertura si inserisce alle porte di Brera, dove lo storico Palazzo Belgioioso diventa il palcoscenico ideale per accogliere la settima galleria firmata Thaddaeus Ropac.<\/strong> Il gallerista austriaco, noto a livello internazionale, ha lanciato e rappresentato artisti come Basquiat e Keith Haring ed \u00e8 gi\u00e0 presente con sedi storiche a Parigi, Londra e Salisburgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo spazio della nuova galleria si estende per 280m\u00b2 su pi\u00f9 piani, accogliendo sale espositive, uffici e aree dedicate alle installazioni. L\u2019intervento punta a valorizzare anche la piazza antistante, trasformandola in un luogo pubblico di arte all\u2019aperto, dove sculture e opere monumentali saranno visibili a tutti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La direzione della sede milanese \u00e8 affidata a Elena Bonanno di Linguaglossa<\/strong>, che porta con s\u00e9 oltre vent\u2019anni di esperienza internazionale nell\u2019arte moderna e contemporanea. Il suo compito sar\u00e0 quello di costruire una proposta culturale che unisca eventi di prestigio e un rapporto stretto con la citt\u00e0<\/strong>, coinvolgendo collezionisti e musei.

L\u2019inaugurazione \u00e8 prevista per il 20 settembre 2025<\/strong> con la mostra L\u2019aurora viene<\/em>, che mette in dialogo due protagonisti dell\u2019arte: Georg Baselitz<\/strong>, con dipinti e sculture recenti, e Lucio Fontana<\/strong>, con opere che spaziano dagli anni trenta ai sessanta.
