The Brera Design Apartment during Milan Design Week is an important stage for demonstrating how our products can fit harmoniously into sophisticated, contemporary settings and engage with the international design community. The concept of contemporary living is constantly evolving, and for us, it increasingly means creating spaces that combine aesthetics, functionality, and well-being. Today, people seek environments that reflect their personalities and offer comfort. At the heart of every new product we develop is the ambition to create innovative, long-lasting designs. We place great emphasis on the selection of materials, favoring natural and recyclable options\u2014certified woods, recycled and recyclable aluminum, natural fibers, and padding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, we are committed to reviving traditional craftsmanship rooted in Italian culture and territory, such as wrought iron, manual weaving, and complex woodworking. Personalization is also a key element for us: we aim to offer products that adapt to a changing lifestyle without ever compromising the elegance and identity of our brand. It may sound ambitious, but we believe that only by aiming high can you truly grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project is an authentic reflection of the values that define our brand and expresses our ability to turn designers\u2019 ideas into reality. Environmental consciousness\u2014understood both as a connection to the land and as respect for the planet\u2014is at the heart of everything we do. Equally important are the human relationships that develop throughout the creative process, with a respect for both natural and human rhythms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We share with Zanellato\/Bortotto a design approach rooted in sensitivity to color, texture, and the interplay between tradition and modernity. All of these elements clearly emerge in the custom solutions created for the Brera Design Apartment, where soft-touch upholstered wall panels in the entrance and bedroom become design features that elevate both the aesthetics and comfort of the space. These details harmonize with the materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and finishes\u2014realized using natural pigments and sealed with beeswax\u2014of the Bend-e bed, the Rideaux dresser, and the Abside nightstand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope this project will foster new connections within the design world, both among the participating creators and with external players\u2014journalists, designers, manufacturers. What excites me most is the idea of sparking an increasingly wide and stimulating dialogue. I believe the project has the power to inspire visitors during Design Week and that the Apartment will become a place of exchange and discovery, where design is experienced not just as aesthetics, but as an authentic and engaging experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was it like working with the Zanellato\/Bortotto studio, and in what aspects of their work and language do you see yourselves?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Working with Zanellato\/Bortotto is always stimulating\u2014they bring freshness and a vision that extends beyond the horizon. Their material research is a true strength, with deep respect for the earth and its resources, a value we wholeheartedly share. Their ethics and respect for people also shine through in every interaction, making the collaboration even more meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project, in particular, was born from a poetic and evocative idea: the horizon as seen in landscape photography. A natural element, ever-changing, yet capable of evoking universal emotions. The transition of colors, the shifting nuances, and the visual harmony of the horizon serve as a guiding concept for interior design here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This translates into a sophisticated use of color, capable of defining spaces with balance and emotional intensity\u2014just like in nature. Come \u00e8 cambiato per l'azienda il concetto di abitare contemporaneo e quali sono gli elementi alla base dello sviluppo di nuovi prodotti?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Il concetto di abitare contemporaneo \u00e8 in continua evoluzione e, per noi, significa sempre pi\u00f9 creare spazi che coniughino estetica, funzionalit\u00e0 e benessere. Oggi le persone cercano ambienti che rispecchiano la loro personalit\u00e0 e che siano confortevoli. Alla base dello sviluppo di ogni nuovo prodotto c\u2019\u00e8 sempre la volont\u00e0 di creare progetti innovativi dal punto di vista del design, destinati a durare nel tempo. Poniamo grande attenzione alla scelta dei materiali, privilegiando quelli naturali e riciclabili, legni certificati, alluminio riciclabile e riciclato, imbottiture e fibre naturali. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A questo si aggiunge l\u2019impegno per il recupero di lavorazioni della tradizione, legate al territorio e alla cultura italiana come il ferro forgiato, l\u2019intreccio manuale e complesse lavorazioni del legno. Inoltre la personalizzazione \u00e8 per noi un elemento chiave: vogliamo offrire prodotti in grado di adattarsi alle esigenze di un lifestyle in trasformazione, senza mai perdere l\u2019eleganza e l\u2019identit\u00e0 del nostro brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Questo progetto \u00e8 un riflesso autentico dei valori che definiscono il brand ed esprime la nostra capacit\u00e0 di trasformare in realt\u00e0 le idee dei designer. L\u2019attenzione all\u2019ambiente, intesa sia come territorio che come rispetto per la terra, \u00e8 al centro di ogni nostro progetto. Allo stesso modo, diamo grande valore alle relazioni umane che si costruiscono nel corso del processo creativo, rispettando i tempi della natura e delle persone. Condividiamo con lo studio Zanellato\/Bortotto un approccio progettuale basato sulla sensibilit\u00e0 per il colore, per le texture e per le contaminazioni tra tradizione e contemporaneit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tutti questi elementi emergono chiaramente nelle soluzioni custom studiate per il Brera Design Apartment dove le pannellature imbottite per le pareti soft touch all\u2019ingresso e nella camera da letto diventano elementi di design che elevano l\u2019estetica e il comfort dello spazio armonizzandosi con i materiali, le lavorazioni artigianali e le finiture - realizzate con pigmenti naturali e fissati con una cera d\u2019api - del letto Bend-e, la cassettiera Rideaux e il comodino Abside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ricerca sui materiali \u00e8 il loro punto di forza, con un\u2019attenzione profonda per la terra e le sue risorse, un valore che condividiamo pienamente. Inoltre, la loro etica e il rispetto per le persone traspaiono in ogni relazione, rendendo la collaborazione ancora pi\u00f9 significativa.
