The Grassi Cornici shop has been open since 1925, exactly 100 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But its origins are much older, in fact the shop was born in the second half of the 19th century, always as a glassmaker, framer and housewares maker. However, it was called \u201cCastelli\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carlo Grassi, with the help of his sons Eraldo and Pietro, bought it in 1925, the activity was then carried on only by his son Pietro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A family-run shop, Pietro was succeeded by his sons Carlo and Enrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Enrico’s son, Marcello, carries on the business and the family name, one of the best known in Milan and Brera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It creates handcrafted frames, in all styles and in all materials, satisfying the needs and requests of customers.<\/p>\n","protected":false,"raw":"\n\n\n

La bottega Grassi Cornici \u00e8 aperta dal lontano 1925, esattamente 100 anni.
Ma le sue origini sono ben pi\u00f9 antiche, infatti il negozio nacque nella seconda met\u00e0 dell\u2019800, sempre come vetraio, corniciaio e casalinghi. Riportava per\u00f2 l\u2019insegna \u201cCastelli\u201d.

Carlo Grassi, con l\u2019aiuto dei figli Eraldo e Pietro lo rilev\u00f2 nel 1925, che fu poi portata avanti solo dal figlio Pietro.
Una bottega a conduzione familiare, a Pietro si susseguirono i figli Carlo ed Enrico.
Oggi, il figlio di Enrico, Marcello, porta avanti l\u2019attivit\u00e0 ed il nome di famiglia, uno dei pi\u00f9 conosciuti di Milano e di Brera.
