The fifth edition of The Art of Becoming welcomes Elena Salmistraro at the Xacus Brera Store, located at Via Solferino 8.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

There are projects that allow us to see fashion as a cultural vehicle, emphasising its cultural and historic value as a sign of a changing and moving society. The Art of Becoming<\/strong><\/a> represents a virtuous path that pairs Xacus with one or more names from the contemporary art panorama, able to interpret its values through a convergence of languages<\/strong>. Now in its fifth chapter, this journey, permeated by the allure of experimentation, has seen the different codes – traditional and experimental –  belonging to the figurative arts, enter into contamination territory with codes from the fashion world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portraying brand values through creativity and alternative languages such as art, becomes a prerequisite for opening the doors to our spaces and promote the artists of our time, just like the patrons of the past. For this fifth chapter, the spotlight is on Elena Salmistraro<\/strong>, creator of bizarre, dreamlike figures, midway between the real and the imagined, with a nod both to  surrealism and to magical realism. The Best Designer Of The Year 2022<\/em> for Salone del Mobile Award <\/em>and Best Emerging Designer 2017<\/em>, is placing her language at the service of one of the most important themes in the Xacus manifesto: Teamwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elena Salmistraro\u2019s art is inclusive, with works that tend to portray every aspect of the world, through monsters and anthropomorphic figures in resin-coated polystyrene<\/strong>, entirely decorated by hand. Her unbridled imagination, mixed with patterns and colours, gives rise to surreal characters that blend into the X-Unity<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>work created for Xacus: an authentic example of balances and connections between different individuals who come together<\/strong>, bringing their own personal contribution to a common aim. This is exactly the same as the way Xacus works constantly towards achieving quality and innovation, collection after collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe research, attention to detail, and care that Xacus puts into its products are the same principles I personally dedicate to my creations. In the same way, teamwork is something that belongs to my world, in which I see myself, because after all, design is always a team effort<\/em>\u201d. [Elena Salmistraro] <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ci sono progetti che ci permettono di definire la moda come un veicolo culturale, enfatizzando il suo valore storico culturale, quale testimone di una societ\u00e0 che si muove e cambia. The art Of Becoming<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>rappresenta un percorso virtuoso che identifica Xacus<\/strong> con uno o pi\u00f9 nomi del panorama artistico contemporaneo, capace d\u2019interpretare i suoi valori<\/strong> attraverso una convergenza di linguaggi. Giunto, ormai, alla sua quinta edizione, questo viaggio permeato dal fascino della sperimentazione<\/strong>, ha visto svariati codici \u2013 tradizionali e sperimentali - propri delle arti figurative, immergersi nel territorio della contaminazione con quelli della moda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raccontare i valori del brand attraverso la creativit\u00e0 e linguaggi alternativi<\/strong> come quello dell\u2019arte diventa il presupposto per aprire le porte dei propri spazi al fine di promuovere gli artisti della nostra epoca, proprio come i mecenati di un tempo<\/strong>. La protagonista di questa quinta edizione, Elena Salmistraro<\/strong>, \u00e8 una creatrice di figure oniriche e bizzarre, a met\u00e0 tra il reale e il fantasioso che strizza l\u2019occhio al surrealismo e al realismo magico. X-Unity celebra lo spirito di squadra di Xacus<\/strong>
Un\u2019arte inclusiva quella di Elena Salmistraro che nelle sue opere tende a raccontare ogni aspetto del mondo, attraverso mostri e figure antropomorfe in polistirolo resinato e interamente decorate a mano.<\/strong> La sua irrefrenabile fantasia e un mix di pattern e colori, diventano, cos\u00ec, i personaggi surrealistici che si fondono nell\u2019opera X-Unity<\/strong><\/a> realizzata per l\u2019azienda vicentina: un vero esempio di equilibrio e incastri tra individui diversi<\/strong> che si uniscono e portano il proprio contributo personale per un obiettivo comune, proprio come Xacus opera costantemente per raggiungere qualit\u00e0 e innovazione, collezione dopo collezione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa ricerca, l\u2019attenzione al dettaglio e la cura che Xacus mette nei suoi prodotti sono le stesse che anche io dedico ai miei lavori. Allo stesso modo, il lavoro di squadra \u00e8 un tema che mi appartiene e in cui mi riconosco, perch\u00e9 quello del designer \u00e8 sempre un lavoro in team<\/em>\u201d, dichiara l\u2019artista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

X-Unity<\/strong>, che prende vita nei locali del flagship store Xacus di via solferino 8<\/strong> a Milano dal 2 Aprile per tutto il mese dedicato al Salone del Mobile, \u00e8 un omaggio al lavoro in team e all\u2019importanza del singolo individuo che Xacus da sempre d\u00e0 all\u2019interno del complesso ciclo produttivo, come singoli organi di un organismo, ognuno con le proprie competenze. Proprio come una societ\u00e0 ideale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
