Caleido Social Hotel: Five leading Italian design brands (Sitia, Codutti, Olev, Matteo Pala, and Opificio) take center stage in an immersive experience that goes beyond a traditional exhibition.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Caleido Social Hotel (Via Solferino 14 & Piazza San Marco 3) is a concept hotel where five Italian design companies showcase a curated selection of furniture (Sitia, Codutti, and Opificio) and accessories (Olev lighting and Matteo Pala rugs), integrating them into the “social areas” of a concept hotel. The project is curated by Caleido Diary and designed by MM Company. We interview Barbieri Magalini, the project’s curators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did this project come to life?<\/strong>
Caleido Social Hotel was born from the desire to explore the role of hospitality in contemporary society. Today, hotels are no longer just places of transit but true spaces for connection, conviviality, and remote working. After the success of Caleido Contract Caf\u00e9 in 2024<\/a>, we wanted to expand the concept and elevate it to a new level with the Caleido Social Hotel\u2014a dynamic environment that reflects these evolving functions. We hope visitors will not only discover new brands and products but also experience design in a more personal and interactive way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which brands collaborated on the project?<\/strong>
This initiative brings together five outstanding Italian design brands with authentic DNA: Sitia, Codutti, Olev, Matteo Pala, and Opificio. Each company contributes uniquely to the project. Sitia specializes in high-quality upholstered furniture, while Codutti provides solutions for workspaces and contract environments. Olev has curated the lighting with smart solutions that enhance guests’ well-being. Matteo Pala introduces the charm of artisanal textile craftsmanship with rugs that blend tradition and innovation. Meanwhile, Opificio completes the selection with premium-quality Italian-made furniture, particularly sideboards and bookcases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come nasce questo progetto?<\/strong>
Caleido Social Hotel nasce dalla volont\u00e0 di esplorare il ruolo dell\u2019ospitalit\u00e0 nella societ\u00e0 contemporanea. Oggi gli hotel non sono solo luoghi di passaggio, ma veri e propri spazi di connessione, convivialit\u00e0 e remote working<\/strong>. Dopo il successo del Caleido Contract Caf\u00e9 nel 2024<\/a>, abbiamo voluto ampliare il concetto e portarlo a un nuovo livello con il Caleido Social Hotel<\/strong>, un ambiente vivo che riflette su queste nuove funzioni. Ci auguriamo che i visitatori possano non solo scoprire nuovi brand e prodotti<\/strong>, ma anche vivere il design in modo pi\u00f9 personale e interattivo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quali brand hanno collaborato alla realizzazione del progetto?<\/strong>
Il progetto nasce dall\u2019iniziativa di cinque eccellenze italiane del design, dal dna autentico: Sitia, Codutti, Olev, Matteo Pala e Opificio<\/strong>. Ognuna di queste aziende porta un contributo unico al progetto. Sitia, per esempio, si distingue per gli imbottiti di alta qualit\u00e0, mentre Codutti offre soluzioni per workspaces e ambienti contract. Olev ha curato l\u2019illuminazione con soluzioni intelligenti che migliorano il benessere degli ospiti. Matteo Pala porta il fascino dell\u2019artigianato tessile nei tappeti<\/strong>, unendo tradizione e innovazione, mentre Opificio completa la selezione con arredi, soprattutto madie e librerie, di altissima qualit\u00e0 made in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il design diventa un mezzo per connettere le persone e migliorare la loro esperienza. Per questo abbiamo creato spazi che favoriscono la socialit\u00e0 in modo naturale<\/strong>: dalle lounge alle aree di networking, tutto \u00e8 pensato per essere vissuto in maniera spontanea e Instagrammabile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
