Twenty Compasso d’Oro awards were presented, with special career recognition for nine Italian and two international personalities, in acknowledgment and admiration for their contributions to the field of design. Additionally, three awards were given to long seller products, all resulting from the work of the legendary Gio Ponti.
The jury also awarded 39 Honorable Mentions and, for the Targa Giovani, recognized three projects and nine certificates to students from Italian design universities. A total of 311 products were included in the event catalog.
