The summer bistrot in the courtyard of Palazzo Citterio launches its 2026 season, featuring dishes by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler and signature St-Germain cocktails.
The Citterio Garden has reopened its doors to the public in Milan, launching a new season full of fresh additions in the heart of the Grande Brera district. The splendid 18th-century courtyard of Palazzo Citterio (located at 12 Via Brera) once again transforms into an urban orangerie accessible to everyone, including those not visiting the museum’s art collections. Managed by AFM Banqueting, the space has undergone a major revamp for the summer, aiming to blend the relaxed atmosphere of an open-air garden with the excellence of fine dining and international mixology.
The main culinary highlight is the prestigious involvement of Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler, who has designed an exclusive menu that reinterprets traditional Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. On the drinks front, the venue’s new identity is reflected in its name, “Citterio Garden by St-Germain”: the partnership with the famous French wild elderflower liqueur will offer a special selection of cocktails tailored to complement the chef’s dishes. With extended opening hours from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm (Tuesday to Sunday), the bistrot will welcome locals and tourists throughout the day, from breakfast and light lunches right through to the all-important aperitivo hour beneath the trees.
