Milano Film Fest 2026

This year, the festival strengthens its connection with the district through a prestigious collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro, which will host special events at the Teatro Strehler, while the streets of Brera will be transformed into a true open-air film set. Among the guests are Vinicio Capossela, the Filarmonica della Scala, Julian Schnabel, and Valeria Golino.
SCISCIORÉ Il gioco come gesto alpino

An unexpected and poetic reflection on the sporting gesture in its alpine expressions, reinterpreted through the lens of design and material culture. The exhibition explores the subtle boundary between function and form, between tool and cherished object, with a particular focus on artisanal knowledge and mountain traditions that continue to survive within contemporary culture.

The solo exhibition by Max Rohr brings together works that engage in a quiet dialogue with one another, without force or imposition, allowing visitors to trace their own path through the exhibition. An invitation to slow down, observe, and return. The show features a selection of more than twenty works on canvas, including several large-scale pieces, alongside watercolor drawings on paper.

Born from a winter residency in Iceland, where daylight lasted barely three hours a day, Nicol Vizioli’s research transforms twilight into living matter. Photographs created using ancient techniques, bronze sculptures cast through the lost-wax process, and video works intertwine in a dialogue suspended between presence and absence, trace and dissolution.
Le Rouge et le Noir à Brera

Four artists bring red and black into dialogue, allowing the two colours to converse on the canvas through different sensibilities and visual languages. Some chose to focus on just one of them, while others placed them in direct interaction: in both cases, contrast and harmony meet without cancelling each other out.
Kìpos – Mirko Baricchi

Baricchi’s research moves within a territory shaped by matter, gesture, and memory, where the pictorial surface becomes a field of sedimentation rather than representation. The works on display reveal a quiet coherence, built over time, from trends and rooted in a practice of the studio understood in its most ancient sense.
Paladino

Mimmo Paladino returns to Milan with Dormienti (The Sleepers), one of his most celebrated works: solid, silent figures that evoke the casts of Eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD while drawing inspiration from Henry Moore’s drawings of London Underground stations during the bombings: curled-up bodies that do not sleep out of fear, yet seem to dream.
