The exhibition reconstructs the mobilization of the residents of the Garibaldi neighborhood who, between 1972 and 1975, opposed evictions and demolitions linked to the construction of the subway. Through archival documents, photographs, testimonies, and a documentary, the exhibition recounts one of Milan’s first major urban struggles for the right to housing and to remain in the city center.
